Cancelled Item

I cancelled an order within 1 hour of ordering but 2 days later was told the order was posted! This cannot be true so what are my options?  It's impossible to speak to speak to a customer service operator at e-bay which leaves me wondering if it's worth using and use a company that will help in these situations!

To be exact, you requested a cancellation. EBay doesn't enable buyers to cancel purchases, they can only request a cancellation.

All you can do now, assuming that the seller accepts returns, is to return the item at your own expense for a refund, through the resolution centre.

There is no motivation for UK business sellers to ignore cancellation requests. The result is simply that when the buyer return the item they will have to refund the full purchase price, including the cost of postage.

Overseas sellers and private sellers don't have to accept cancelaltions or returns, unless this is their returns policy.

Thanks for the reply, but seems to me that the company did not want to help neither does e-bay so will think twice before using again! er does e-bay, so I will be thinking twice before using e-bay again
