eBay is telling me my buying limit is reached and that to extend it I need to receive a pin on the mobile number registered with them and send that pin back to them. This is obviously a verification mechanism. The problem is that I'm overseas at the moment (probably why they are asking for verification) and have my phone switched off. Is there is another way of verifying my identity without using my phone? For example, using my email address?
Very frustrating.
