Thoughts please on buyer opening a return on a spinning wheel because the buyer is unable to assemble it!
As a fragile item I unassembled it and carefully packed it for transit with insurance to ensure safe transit.
item received as sent and so not claiming damaged or not the correct item or not as described but that it wouldn't not have been purchased had I said in the description it would be unassembled for delivery.
I forgot to include instructions for reassembling but have since sent these but buyer still not happy and wants to a full refund, saying that the item is not as described!!!
I have tried to negotiate but buyer says she is unable to assemble and she has no one else to help!!! Really? I believe it's a case of changed their mind and if so then buyer should return goods with tracked postage.
Appreciate any help!
IF buyer opens a Not As Described Case you will have no choice but to supply a Reply Paid label and on return refund.
If ebay get involved you will get a defect and no refund of the selling fee.
If buyer expected it to be fully assembled and it is not, then it was a bad mistake not pointing out before posting that it would need assembling. Ebay never see what is sent or arrived but will virtually 100% of the time back the buyer.
