Buy it Now option dissapeared

I have a few items for sale ending tomorrow with auction start prices and BIN optons. Someone just put a bid in for £1 over the BIN price! So I just checked all the sales and the BIN option has been removed (all items have at least one bid)

Once there is a bid then the buy it now option disappears and it is on auction 

You should leave it too carry on and you may get more

It is a waste of money as you pay 50p each time to add a buy it now

Best to start at a price you are willing to accept

Thanks, not sure it s a waste of 50p though as I have sold quite a few items using this method.

If they were happy with the buy it now price then they would probably have bid and because it was on auction you may have received more. It is your choice of course if you are happy with the amount you are receiving and paying the 50p. It is when the item does not sell ( and that happens often) then you are paying 50p for nothing

OK I found the answer. I didn't know that. The items I've already sold this week didn't have bids on them.
