Bidding refused

I want to bid on a seller's items but I keep getting told I've bid on the maximum items from that seller in the last 10 days. I've contacted the seller and he says that I've been put on the buyer exemption list but it still won't let me bid. Is this something Ebay does?

I'm not sure that sellers can exempt individual buyers from their ten day limit on the number of items they can buy.

I think the exemption list may only apply to their blocked bidders list, e.g. buyers who live in countries to which the don't deliver

You may just have to wait ten days, and bid again.

It has nothing to do with eBay, it's the seller who set this limit. I don't know why sellers place limits if they don't want them to be apply.
