Bidding concern

I've just won't an auction for the amount I selected as my highest. Throughout my the seven day auction, around 12 bids came in and price was $40 heading to the final minute. I bid my highest $112.12. Until the last second, I was the lead bidder at $46. I'm confused why I've now won the auction at $112.12. It all seems odd to me. Why exactly $112.12? This was an obscure amount. How did I not see it increase theought $50s,  $60s and so on. This dosn't sit right with me.
