BEWARE.....Very crucial wrong heading for Casio CDP-S100 instead of CDP-100

Sorry that it's a bit long

Warning to decent buyers and I need some help

I recently won the Casio CDP-S100 on Wednesday 14/07/2021 at least the heading stated that.

When It ravelled up to KIngs Lynn from London, I was met by this lovely , friendly and hospitable family.

The gentleman briefly demonstrated the said CDP-S100, I didn't want to impose and trusted him as the way he came across and genuine. He then showed me his very expensive Hybrid up right piano and very knowledgeable about pianos.

When I got home after a four and a half round trip journey I gave it to my son as it was his surprised present. After a while he was playing it he looked for some features like USB port and Organ sound and there were none. He then pointed out that it was actually model CDP-100 a 10 years old model and not the recent CDP-S100.

I got in touch with the seller and hopied that it was his genuine mistke but was told that it was my mistakes for not looking at the item properly when collected and the photos that he uploaded on Ebay. and take no reponsibilty in his action.

I said I didn't even know that CDP-100 existed

I was disappointed and angry at my self for being too trusting and stupidly careless.

If the listing was correct, the item would no go for as much as he got

There were no other text which stated CDP-100 in his entire  listing.

After a few exchange messages trying to resolve the issues I had no luck . I asked him to pay for return postage and then a reasonable partial refund for me to quickly sell it and without losing too much money but no luck and insisted that it was my fault for being careless and too trusting for not checking the photos and items properly.

I told him that he would not get as much as £151.11 form me or other buyers and perhaps he knew it all along.

When asked why did he listed as CDP-S100 knowing the difference in value, he said it was auto generated. When I try to relist it I manage to list the correct model number as CDP-100.

I also found his advert for the piano somewhere else.

It stated  CASIO CDP-S100 for sale £250 reduce with the same photographs on Ebay.

All i am asking is anyone who came across the listing and a few bidders bid for it realised that it was CDP-100 or believe they are looking and bidding for CDP-S100

I thank you for your time

If you paid in cash then nothing you can do. If you paid any other way, hen it woud be worth trying a Not As Described Case with Ebay.

Read the Money Back Guarantee top right of EVERY listing to see if you qualify, even if collected in person, as the method of payment can make a difference.

It is good of you to go to all the trouble to try and warn others but there are not many buyers of that item that would see it on here.

It is really up to the buyers to know what they are buying and to check it out properly when they collect and pay.

If you had had it delivered then it would have been a straight forward not as described dispute on ebay.

Those machines I believe have their numbers clearly on them for you to check which model it is
