Automatic sign out?

I tick the box to stay signed in but it does not work, it drives me mad, sign in sign in sign in!!!! My use of ebay is very much reduced on account of this.why put the stay signed in box there then disable it?

You will loose the Signed in Option if you are clearing Cache and Cookies from the Browser when you Log Out.

The tick is in the box all the time I have tried unticking and re ticking to no avail 😞
