An item I bought is faulty, but it does not appear on my purchase history?

Guest purchase perhaps which do not appear in your eBay account ? ... if you paid through eBay checkout  using a card or available funds, you will have more success if you use the PayPal Resolution Centre to raise an 'Item not as described' case there ... otherwise contact your Bank Card issuer for advice >

If the item has been removed by ebay or the seller suspended you have to open a case with Paypal rather than eBay, or whichever payment service you used, if you did use one.  First sign up to get the return postage paid:

Then open a "Not as described" case here:

https://www.paypal.com/uk/disputes/

and escalate it after 2 days and before 20 days.
