Advertised price increases when you go to checkout

I have noticed when trying to purchase Bitdefender Internet Security at best price, one supplier is stating a price but when you click buy / checkout the price suddenly increases. For example listed at £10.79, but when go to checkout suddenly becomes £12.95. There is no p&p. Why does this happen or is it simply a false price to entice people who then unwittingly pay extra but don't realise

Quick check >> Buyer/Seller Feedback profile only shows Based location (Address)  but, > clicking through their 'Items for sale /View listings' links will show Country of registration  > under Seller information in left column ...  often very different and will trigger import fees !.

The Seller is EU based or registered overseas which triggers an additional UK 20% VAT import fee.

Does downloaded software get treated the same as physical goods for import from EU. It would be better to see clearly in bold or red on the listing that 20% additional import / export charge will be the case.

The specific listing I am referring to in the question is clearly showing as ITEM LOCATION LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – so no import / export to myself as UK resident. This would suggest false advertising or oversite that needs resolving
