Action required: Your payment needs to be resent

Hello,

 

I've a problem regarding a potential purchase which I tried  complete several times. Each time I've selected Paypal and used either of the cards which are associated with the Paypal Account. Within a few seconds of completing the transaction I receive an email stating:

Sorry, your recent payment for the item(s) below did not go through.

Please return to eBay to send your payment again.

I re-attempted this several times with the same result.

 

I have purchased from this seller previously, and that transaction completed successfully.

 

Have contacted the seller to make them aware of the problem I have experienced, but they did not respond.

 

At this point I chose to purchase a similar item from a different seller. That transaction went through OK,

and I received the item. Unfortunately the quality of the item is not quite as good as the item I tried unsuccessfully to purchase several times.

 

I have made other purchases on eBay using Paypal since my  attempts approx 4-5 days ago.

These purchases have gone through OK, and I have received the items.

 

Today I received an email from eBay advising that the seller had re-listed the item I was trying to purchase,

so I chose to attempt purchasing again.

 

I received the same email as previous, i.e.

Sorry, your recent payment for the item(s) below did not go through.

Please return to eBay to send your payment again.

 

I really don't know what the problem is, i.e.

 

eBay

Paypal

problem with sellers listing

 

Would be gratefully for any information or guidance ?
