Until you can what? It's hard to suggest how to solve this if you leave out what eBay has asked you to do?
If eBay has asked for any information, provide it asp. If you can't satisfy them that you have no connection with this other member you will be stuck with a lifetime restriction, with no appeal. An indefinite restriction means permanent on eBay, and I don't think we've ever heard of one being lifted, even years later.
