Put another authentic bag up for auction last night to receive email from eBay saying it has been removed for not following policy. To top it off eBay then sends second email looking for 17.00 fee for bag that they took down. Are they having a laugh and taking the mick? This is unbelievable from ebay. No point in phoning them cause person on phone has a script and they don't deviate from it so you get nowhere speaking to Johnny or paddy in India
eBay looking for a fee?
Looking at your new listing for "Authentic Michael Kors Bag" auction starting @ £13.40 it has a note 'reserve not met'.
Even if it does not sell you pay a reserve fee [4% of reserve] and if eBay were to remove that listing they would still charge the reserve fee.
Hi
Some Brand owners do not allow their items to be sold through Ebay and only through official outlets.
IF others are still listed on Ebay its probably because, as yet, they have not been noticed/reported and removed. You can read about Vero here Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) policy | eBay
You have had one bag removed already....and now a second bag 😞 Do not relist them because Ebay can and will remove you from the site either temporarily or permanently.
Ebay do not get to see the bags in question so they cannot be 100% sure they are authentic.....will not take the risk of a law suit so remove the listing. Even COAs can be faked (i am not saying your bags are fake of course)
I have never had an item removed...........let alone been charged fees for the priviledge ......but i bet its in Ebays terms and conditions for using their site which you initially signed up to that they can.
As to your comment about Ebay CS staff......yes they often do read from a script.
Ebay CS staff are usually in Manila in the Philippines.
