Back to winter today - big jumper, heating on, hotpot for tea!
But........WIGAN WON !!!
(now all they have to do is not get relegated!)
When I moved to Wigan, in the 70s it was actually a long time before I realised there was a football team here, rugby was all the locals mentioned. How times have changed!

Yes, Wigan won, well done to them. 😄
Brrr, certainly has felt like winter again, heating turned on too.
Mm, Hotpot is nice. 😄

Right you lot... Line up for inspection ... No use hiding ... hehehe....
I'm afraid just a flying visit to say hi to you all ...
Fresh baked peanut butter cookies and cinnamon rolls available in the kitchen ...
New Uniforms have been delivered ... Thanks to the person doing that! I do see there have been 2 sets ordered winter and summer as it seems the weather doesn't know what it is doing.
All in all you all seem to be doing a great job ...
The cells visitors quarters all look good and clean.
Right must fly off again 🙂 hope you all are well.
Take Care and big hugs to you all

Rebs!! Long time no see. Hope life isn't treating you too badly in 2013, you certainly could do with a good year.
The cookies and rolls are excellent, thanks! The winter uniforms are probably going to get the most use at present - it's not even approaching 'normal' May weather yet.
I saw this yesterday - but couldn't get it to work.........

Ohhh! Uniforms look good, goes to cell with uniforms to try on in one hand and plate of Cinamon rolls for supper in other hand.

Love the "Installing British Summer", dragon..! :^O
Any Cinnamon rolls left cazzarat..? 😄
20-05-2013 9:04 PM
Welcome to the dungeon! I'm sure your personal guard/dragon will find you some of the cinnamon rolls and any other edibles in the kichens tonight. Enjoy your stay!
Don't be fooled by the lack of visible guards, the whole of the site - towers, halls and dungeon levels are covered by CCTV, and all locks operated electronicaly. (In practice, many of the young dragons not watching the cameras congregate in their cinema room.) Prisoners Visitors may request films of their choice to be screened in their personal cells, by arrangement.

White for me please!
After two days of sun, we still have the heating on. It takes more than that to even begin to heat up these thick walls, and it's cold and wet again anyway - true summer. YUK.

We all used to say 'Roll on Summer' as we could be certain it would be lovely, now it is anyone's guess as to how it will be.:8}

Ah, erm, they just kept the sunshine company while on it's travels to your side of the hill Cazz, those clouds will soon go away again.:-D
05-06-2013 8:36 PM
Cloudless sunny skies today, so looks like you were right x
09-06-2013 10:32 PM
having returned from my travels, i have brought with me a sun dragon, and egg for you cazz not sure from where as a blindfold was compulsory untill i arrived. . 30 mins in her company is equal to a week in Barbados [ sunglasses need to be worn, also factor 30 sun cream] very high UV output. when active she is installed at the lowest level, cell 333, this is for 3 days a week, when inactive, she will just give off a warm glow, this should be useful in the winter in the colder parts of the towers, or where she is needed.

Hi Mally, hope you had fun on your travels! The sun dragon is a very welcome addition to the establishment - It gets meg cold in places here a lot of the year, not just winter!!

I'm off to Northumberland for a few days (dragonsister's 70th 'do') then to Wilshire for dragoncousin's 60th 'do' straight after. Not particularly thrilled to be going to either, but that's families for you!! My sister is around 9 years older than me and makes me feel like a 5 year old. We usually get on well when 200-300 miles apart!
Been over to Chesterfield today to see dragondaughter and kippered ourselves with some disposeable barbeques that did not a lot but create smoke!

should have taken a eco friendly smokeless dragon with you 😉 enjoy your days away. at least it is only once a year
