this is my second attempt of my macaroons.a lot better than my purple ones.these are peppermint flavour .

i must be more generous with the food coloring as these should be green.

but they taste good.

please help your selves.:-)

Yes cookie.  I don't know the recipe, I expect there are plenty about, but I seem to think there are a only egg whites involved.  Handy if you've used the yolks in a different recipe. 😄

yes i just got a simple recipe of g###gle but going to try it substituting the sugar with canderal for my diabetics tomorrow as the rest have solid sugar macaroons.

firstly i have learnt that the ones i first made pic above are not macaroons they  are  macarons ?:|and the ones cg had above are macaroons.and they do not work with canderal instead of sugar. 😞

my doctor told me not to bother with sweetner, (I'm type 2 diabetic) but to stay clear of sugar if I could. to have one of your macarons would be a treat for me .....I'll say it would:^O

i use sweetener on my porridge only at home but do not take sugar any how else but i have several diabetics at work and every day i make normal cakes for the tea trolley and a diabetic choice using canderel but the coconut macaroons just did not work.

corrrr they look lovely i have not tried Macaroons yet. All the colours are good. They put allsorts of flavours in them too dont they??. : )
