Computer's are like that CB. The first thing I always try is turn it off and leave it for at least a quarter of an hour. Usually sorts it out.

could be a million things captain
is it a laptop or a home computer
go to start...........control panel
click hardware & sound, then device manager
then.......................

make sure there are no exclamation marks on the list
a lot of times simple build up of dust can overheat the machine
but as i say could be anything.
