We had whatever I grabbed out of the freezer.  We had a couple of hash brown potato things each, half a bag of stir fry veg and noodles each, and he had some cheesy rice stuff that I made up and I had a steak slice!  It was all quite  tasty actually.:-D

do you get them from a chippie CG? I had oven chips and oven fish and it wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. I don't really like oven chips, they're too dry.

I just looovvve fish from a chippie:-)

Yes, we get them from the chippie.  The fish is just delicious.:-x

I'm not that keen on oven chips.  I find the McCaine french fries are the best of a bad lot.  Nothing compares to the ones we used to have as kids.  In a chip pan full of lard that set solid and was used over and over!:^O  Didn't do us any harm!!!

Oh yes you can't beat fresh fish and chips from the chippie 😄

The chippies in our area have a habit of putting it all in those horrible polystyrene containers now 😞 I don't like them..........I like it all wrapped in paper otherwise it just doesn't feel like it's from the chippie.

The very best place to get really, really fresh fish and chips from, which is near to us it a place called Hastings...........it's a sea side town and they fish every morning, it's just delicious, hopefully I'll get down there sometime soon, sit on the beach wiv me fish and chips.........heaven :-x

These are both favourites of mine :-x

Then you go down to the beach, sit near where all the fishing boats are, and munch away.

I've had many a trip up the cliffs in the lift that you can see there, the views from the top are breathtaking...........plus there's a chippy up there too :^O

These are the original fishermans net huts, they are very, very old. They still use them today, they hang their nets in them to dry them out...........the smell of fish in this area is gorgeous........some people don't like it, but I's lubs it 😄
