Thank you to the weather forecaster who said this area was going to have the best day of the weekend, with sunshine today ! So what have we got? Yet more rain and a load of washing to get dry! It hasn't even got daylight yet. Now, on the other hand if all this rain we are getting was SNOW, just think how lovely and deep and picturesque it would be.........Instead of that we have muddy, soggy fields to walk and slide about in when dog-walking. What weather are the rest of you having?

About 20 minutes ago, we had one almighty rain storm along with a very strong gale.  We've now got what I hate most - snow.  It's sticking a bit but it looks like there's more to come.  I hate it.

Drizzle first thing, now it's bloomin cold grey & miserable, but no snow thank goodness!
Hope we don't get the gale force winds that is forecast for today. As the Americans say " stay safe out there" Sam.

We have the rain and wind.  We also have a red weather warning for strong winds from 3pm today.  They've forecast gusts of well over 60 mph.  I'm certainly not looking forward to it.

They have said 100mph here!!! The rain has arrived to accompany the wind & the shipping forecast mentioned hurricane force 12 which is the highest on the scale! (according to the BBC) I think the rest of the barge board might go today!

Oh lucky us,, blowing a hoolie and bucketing it down at the moment, just got back from work and got absolutely soaked, put fuel in the car and picked the wrong pump as it was blowing sideways and I was on the outside, so my back and legs were soaked, mental note to self, us a bloomin inside pump next time, doh!.

My fence is doing a mexican wave at the moment.  Just heard about the 100 mile an hour winds but haven't read it yet is there any more it can chuck at us.

The hurricane force 12 is in the Irish sea but North Devon has Storm Force 11 forecast!

Horrendous winds & heavy snow here...I've never seen totally horizontal snow

Yes you stay safe Mercles and everyone else as well.  We've got horizontal rain at the moment.

I have just been outside, boy it is very windy,  the noise it is making coming up the valley is horrendous,  Any of our friends in North and West Wales, and in the North take care, because it is not so windy here as you are supposed to getting, my goodness it is difficult to stand up and I think we might be loosing our fence if it carrys on.

The wind here in London is about 29mph acording to he BBC, it's whistling round the front of the house and the apple trees are bending over. Also chucking it down. 

Just looked at the forecast for SW Wales (Fishguard) and it says 61mph!

This morning i thought they had got it wrong as it was calm and quite clear. Got a taxi up to my dentist for my check up. When i came out the wind was blowing badly. I decided to walk as there was no rain then. Walked over the River Medway and its horrendous. Not as bad as some places but still scary!!!. And very fast flowing!!!!. The tow path is completely covered. It was freezing. When i got home the wind has got bad and its raining buckets now!!. BOY am i glad i got in in time!!!!. I took my hat and im glad i did!!!. Its going to get even more windy tonight. Its very scary i think this weather!!!.

No rain here, it's a bit breezy though. I think we might just sink this time.
