Thank you to the weather forecaster who said this area was going to have the best day of the weekend, with sunshine today ! So what have we got? Yet more rain and a load of washing to get dry! It hasn't even got daylight yet. Now, on the other hand if all this rain we are getting was SNOW, just think how lovely and deep and picturesque it would be.........Instead of that we have muddy, soggy fields to walk and slide about in when dog-walking. What weather are the rest of you having?

Same here and very windy and cold - a total contrast to yesterday. It's still dark as well. I pity the poor sheep, horses, cattle etc that are out in all this lousy weather, not going to be very nice for the lambs that are due to be born soon either.

Diabolical first thing for walking the dogs,  now it is beautiful sunshine, if not a little chilly.  Makes  change.

Yes indeed , wind & rain is a killer of all livestock, & I have to say it's not that good for the shepherd & our dogs either!

& now you know why we all carry a hip flask, don't believe us when we tell you it's for the lambs.lol

I watched that portland Storm video.. VERY SCARY. That is the true power of water at its most merciless. It makes me cross that young people think they can go and muck about at the edge and play chicken.. Nooo way sir!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. If i lived there i would have to go and watch it but at a safe distance. OOhhh CREEPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Its like a TSUNAMI effect really!!!.

its raining here,  has been most of the morning,  temps  dropped, can feel that too

winds rising again too  , was lovely not having it yesterday

there may be wintry showers overnight the weather firl said,  more your way Twishy

I don't live anywhere near any flood plains personally, luckily, but my thoughts are with everyone who does & is being very badly affected by all this devastation at the moment 😞
