Thank you to the weather forecaster who said this area was going to have the best day of the weekend, with sunshine today ! So what have we got? Yet more rain and a load of washing to get dry! It hasn't even got daylight yet. Now, on the other hand if all this rain we are getting was SNOW, just think how lovely and deep and picturesque it would be.........Instead of that we have muddy, soggy fields to walk and slide about in when dog-walking. What weather are the rest of you having?

Lovely here (Essex), sunny with blue sky and light breeze.

Garden is like a quagmire though, when I went down to hang washing out

and cats have run all over the place and come back in with muddy paws

and run all over everything!

Beautiful here in Devon today, icy first thing but then the sun came out, cold out of the sun, but the front room is bathed in  sunlight and it is lovely and warm.

Sorry that you've no power again Merc.  It's been lovely here today but they've forecast fog for us for tomorrow morning and it's going to be cold but not quite at freezing point.  I'm not saying that they'll have it right as they very rarely do.

Yesterday was the first dry day in ages, which I was happy about as we took my son and some friend go-karting (for his Birthday) and it was nice to be out and about with no rain for a change!

Today is dry too, so far.... and sunny!

Its very cold today a complete turn. AND,,,,, Snow Shovels are out for sale in S******YS, ohhhhhhh yaayyyyyyy,,, come on SNOW.

In our shop we have had the lot on sale since October, snow shovels, salt, toboggans etc. needless to say we haven't sold many down here.

It's been bright on the whole here today but it's just started to cloud over a bit.  About half an hour ago, we had a rainbow but we hadn't had any rain.

We bought a snow shovel and rock salt about 3 or 4 years and haven't needed them yet.  I just hope that I'm not tempting fate.

It has been lovely here today, just like Spring; there was a sharp frost overnight, but it was sunny and I really enjoyed my walk with the dogs. Budgie was happy too as he had the sun shining on his cage
