With the weather forecast not being too good, I hope that everyone stays safe over the next few days.

It's blowing a right old gale here at the minute and we keep having heavy showers.  There's still fireworks going off though.

Here too.  Very windy but they're still managing to let off hundreds of fireworks.  I think the wind is carrying the sound from miles away.

Some of the people in Suffolk only got their power back on last night from last Monday.  They had to set up soup kitchens in the end.

it's bonkers out there....we nearly lost the power a minute ago, it's raining like mad too....be careful peeps xx

It seems to be getting worse here if it is possible. At least we've not had any power cuts yet.  Let's hope it stays that way.

The wind seems to have dropped a lot here but we've had several hail showers and it's not so very warm.

Last night was awful, thunder, lightening, hail stones and blowing a holigan.  Much worse than the hurricane of last weekend here anyway.

Went out with the dogs this morning and got absolutely soaked through to the skin, knickers and all, even though had my wet weather gear on, boots leaked, waterproof coat wasn't and waterproof trousers were so hot they were wet on the inside.  Time to chuck that lot away then. Have got 2 sulking dogs who had to be hosed down they were so filthy, now they are bannished to their beds and they have the hump because they can't go on the sofa or our bed.

Quite windy in Maidstone and a bit spooked with the riots in the prison going on five minuites up the road from me!!!!!!!!!!!.

Loads of bangs and wooshes firework wise though. Cloudy yesterday but this morning lovely Blue Sky and still blustery but bracing. I had a nice stroll out!!!!!.

Well it's just hammering down now. We had enough fireworks before it started to send Damson into terror mode but hopefully the deluge has put a stop to the rest.

I've just moved the car further up the drive so that it will be more sheltered as the temperature for us overnight is low and we may get a frost.  The car was telling me that the outside temperature is 5 degrees.  It's feels colder than that though.

I'm not over impressed with the prison riots either. Hubbys on the Tornado team & currently out at yet another one after Maidstone yesterday.

Maidstone riot was a bit of a wet sqibb compared to some.in fact no prison damage at all, which is unusual.

The weather is horrible today so im staying in. I have my last weeks holiday off but do not feel like doing a lot as im still getting over my cold and cannot seem to stop coughing. Not so bad last night, got some sleep at least. Its rainy and damp and miserable outside so glad im in the warm.
