Tunisia

A quick heads up to you all.

If any of you have booked a holiday to Tunisia in the next 3 months get hold of your travel agent NOW as the FCO have just placed Tunisia off limits and the insurance companies are now saying that no travel insurance will be valid for Tunisia.

You should now be able to cancel or rebook without any charges or penalties.

Move fast or you may find your second choice is gone as well.

The best way to do this is to have an alternative holiday ready and ask your travel agent to move your holiday over to it.

If you booked direct then you need to call the company and find out what they intend to do.

I feel heartily sorry for people who have booked to go there and now have to alter their plans.  I also feel sorry for the locals as no doubt their livelihoods have now gone due to the events of a couple of weeks ago.

I've never been to Tunisia but I feel heartily sorry for the people affected by the act of terrorism a couple of weeks ago as well as the Tunisian people.  One act of lunacy can have such a devastating effect on so many people.  It's such a shame.

Before the government changed their stance today on going to Tunisia the holiday companies were charging people extra to change destinations. Unbelievable!
