Is that a picture of Tyrone Dobbs who works at the garage, who's poor wife Molly died in the tram crash, who thought he had a son but it turned out to be Kevin's and has just blown the lid on Kevin's scratch card win of £200.00 so that Kevin's wife Sally won't divorce him until she gets half of it?  Who was taken in as a 'son' by Vera and Jack because his own mother (played by Margi Clarke) was in and out of prison?

Are you sure that machine is just for sewing Maggie?  It looks like if you fit it in your car you could fly to the moon!:O  It would be a lifetime hobby for me.....just working out how to use it!  😄

Daughter and son in law are going on their balloon flight that I bought them for Christmas,  this afternoon.

That machine looks the biz Maggie & so much fun to be had trying everything out on it 😄

Im having a lazy day with a new book bought yesterday ....i could be branching out into doll making 😉

The one I bought is second hand though.

Just got some bargains at our new charity junk shop. Silk paints, a roll of pink satin ribbon, a length of fabric,a big cone of black thread & a big bag of wool all for £3.:-) In the other proper charity shop & got a nice new doormat for £2.50.:-)

I have just tried to burn the house down! I went out for an hour & left a pan of pasta on the stove! House full of smoke & it stinks!Any tips on saving my stainless steel saucepan?

i use one of those metal scrubbers that looks like a ball for anything baked one,  i pre soak, some people use biological soap powder

Emma has sugested Coke so I am trying that at the moment.

😮 Maggie, hope your ok after the shock of it, did you manage to sort your pan out, only thing i can think of is a bit of hot water & loads of bicarb, overnight.

It was pasta for her I was cooking. The pan has been cokes & put in the dishwasher. I will try soda & washing powder next if it's not all off. The coke got a lot off. He kitchen & breakfast room still smell terrible though.:-(

i remember reading about using coke on burnt pans, scares me to think what it must do to your stomach though 😮

Morning all. It's a bit of a grey day here. Off to Aquafit later. The house still smells of smoke but only the two back rooms now. I left the windows open all nigh which helped.
