Maybe different area's have different rules but I had a treadmill ECG earlier this year, it was Ok for me to keep my underwired bra on (I don't have any other kind :^O)

Good luck Gems you'll feel like your climbing Everest 😉

I don't do the treadmill ones, just the ordinary one and we ask men and women to remove all metal including belts with buckles, underwired bras etc... as the metal can interfere with the readings

Hows the sewing Merlin??

Well I did none of the above - 'spring' cleaned our hallway instead!! Removed outgrown clothes & shoes to recycling - either rag bag or CS 🙂

All grot removed and lots tidied up. Quite pleased with myself.

Poor boys - when they came through the door tonight there was I telling them to take their shoes off immediately and not wander anywhere in them!!

Lying in wait for MrHippy to return now ]:)

CK i went on treadmill a few years ago, i needed half an hour to recover lol.

You should be used to climbing hills 😄

I didn't need to remove underwired bra, and it only took about 2 mins, i was there over 2 and half hours and didn't go on the tread mill, when i finally got to see the doc ( who was over an hour late ) it was the same one i saw 3 yrs ago, he looked at my ecg reading, examined me and said i'm still not convinced its your heart, so he wants me to make appointment for a heart scan & then see me again.

Evening ladies.:-D

Glad the hip's not too painful Maggie and hope you get good results gems.

I'm no better today:-( In fact I was up from 3.00am to 6.30am this morning just coughing and coughing! As soon as I did get to sleep it was time to get up again. My nose is rivaling Rudolph's, so at least I'm still seasonal.:-)

Hubby was only sick the once, so it must have been the crab rather than the bug, and grandson has been ok all day today.

I've had toddler here today.  She hasn't got chickenpox! She's got two little spots on her shoulder but nothing else.

😐

Maggie - so do i, it gets me very down sometimes, but i soon buck up. I hope your ache has lifted 🙂

((( CG ))) sorry your not feeling any better, try to eat some garlic, & rub some on the sole's of your feet ( then put socks on ) and have a good stiff drink before bed, not many germs will put up with that, although you will probably end up with the bed to yourself 😉

Good to hear your hubby & Grandson is feeling better, and grandaughter is chicken spotless 🙂

I think they should all spend a day tending to your needs 🙂

tree:|

i really dont like christmas
if it were down to me i'd give everybody money
and i would go to a log cabin in the highlands for 3 months
our 3 dont like christmas in the traditional sense either
we never have a christmas dinner, no one likes it

we are debating a tree
we have about 6 up the loft
we got a black one to see if it would endear us any
it stayed up about 3 hours

dont mind everybody else doing christmas
its just its expected that we do it as well:-(

If you dont like it, then it would be pointless doing it just *for the sake of it* you have to do what makes you happy as a family, even if its just sat watching the tv 🙂

*imagines Merlins tree decorated with stars & stripes* :-D.

OOhhhhh!  You could have it in the kitchen and make little felt records for decorations too, to fit in with the diner theme. *ducks & runs*>>>>>>>>

THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Hello People 🙂

I have a spare 1/2 hour, so I'm going to make a brew and then come back in here.

Borzio (and other kind people).  I have sucummed and bought a coop off ebay.  I'm sure it won't be substantial as a home made one, but hubby has tomorrow and Thursday free and I think we are going to be tied up tomorrow with my tenant who is leaving and Thursday is going to be freezing apparently.

I think the final straw was when hubby said he would cut the wood outside, but build it inside 😮

Anyway, whilst I put the kettle on - ponder this...

Hubby went to see a specialist today as he needs an op.  He had a nose swab (MRSA) and a swab from behind his testicles!!!!!

Guess what operation he is going to have.
