Good evening. Haven't been out, much to OH's annoyancetest but have got a few bits done....few more dresses ordered. 😐

I need to conserve my energy anyway!
Sat - Oscar coming, car being picked up, shopping (if only for pressie), Thai night in the evening at sports club.
Sun - drive to Selsey to sort out some plans, viewing at 12.00, lunch with Mother.
Mon - work. Monday is always hell.
Tues - drive to Lincs. Birthday formal dinner.
Wed- finally meet latest great nephew and take 3 year old one shopping for belated birthday pressie. Drive back & OH drops me in London. Evening in hotel.
Thurs - working for friend at a conference thing from 8-1 then train home.
Fri - normal work. Dinner with friends.
Sat - coach trip to London with friend for Stitching and knitting show.
Sun - mothers day lunch with Mum.
Mon - normal work again.

Morning all - do any of you girls know owt about cake pops?  I hadn't  heard of them until last night.  Need to make them for a birthday party in April.

Merlin - since you're not busy, you don't fancy a ticket to see Brendan O'Carroll next week? - my wee Dad not too well so may not make it.  Apparently the stage show is very raucous (and rude) 😄

i know what they are but never made any

but they look great

i'd like to give them a go but i'm rubbish at baking unless its bread

So, Merlin, these are for a kids party, found a coupla ways of making them - but basically you crush up ready made cake and mix with icing  - which you roll into balls, dip in chocolate and put a stick in and eh that's it.  Kids really love them apparently.

Also does Numptz have an oven yet - there's a new one up on Gumtree - looks great - electric ovens and gas hobs - looks pretty grand actually - only £170 which is not bad.   Maybe too big don't know what space she has?

Soz - missed your other post - Brendan O'Carroll is Mrs Brown's Boys (was on BBC1).  He is very funny and yes hopefully Dad will be ok - he's dying to see it.

My life's not always planned either - although I do keep getting hauled out as the babysitter, which is good fun most of the time!

These boots any good to anyone, perhaps young daughter/family member with skinny feet and ankles.  Faith make, 4" heels.  Very good condition, my foot fits and can get the zip up, but then cannot walk - bummer!  They are made of a kinda stretchy canvas with leather straps.  I reckon they would even do a size 5 foot.  Let me know. x.
