Would you be better off with an interest free credit card? Pay at least the minimum off every month.

When we did up mums house to sell it needed a new kitchen so took out a card with 12 months free credit, bought the kitchen with it & paid as much as we could off it every month for eleven of the twelve months. We then paid off the balance (small by then) & cancelled the card. Worked well for us & we didn't use it for anything else. You just have to pay at least the minimum amount each month.

We have a gas cooker that we bought to go in a flat but when the gas man went to fit it he said he couldn't because there are new regs for flats although it's fine for a house. I will have to pay about £30 to just remove it from where it was supposed to be installed. How much would a man and van charge to bring it to you as a stop gap?

I suppose I could deliver it....but I'm not sure if it would fit in my Clio.

if  the clio's back seats fold down ?  then i'd expect a cooker to fit in.

i've got a corsa and been stunned at what i've fitted in it.

SIL & his 2 eldest kids have just been round to see Ben. He said he felt just like an 'absent father' having his weekly visit. Sassy cried when she had to go home & leave Ben here.

Merlin I LOVE that sun catcher  😄

I bet in summer it will reflect like a glitter ball 🙂

Am I  bad for enjoying the fact that OH is ill in bed 😐  he has that flu bug thats going around & its so not like him to go &  take to bed, I think I've only known him do it once before in all the time i've known him & thats a very long time :^O

So far tonight I've watched 2 films, had a nice steak & I'm going to get a nice big g & t in a minute & watch another film before I go to bed 😄

I've even sent the dog up to him ......... cos she keeps farting  😛

Think I'll take him a drink of water & a paracetamol up then get cosy on the sofa again  :^O

I could get used to this ]:)

it makes such a change from sitting with my lappy on my knee every night bored because he's watching rubbish on tv

Thing is I know I'll probably  end up catching it as well 😞
