Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

Naughty Chez :^O

Thank you for your good wishes, we got home about  9 pm & he was in bed asleep by 10 😮 (that is so not him :^O) he slept right through untill after 1 pm 🙂

Not sure he should be home though, he says he feels Ok but has still coughed blood since getting up ..... sorry if thats TMI .....  but he's insisting he goes back to Uni on Sat.

he had a Pulmonary Odema, I really don't think he accepts how serious it could have been X-(

Also hopes Mrs Rs ok.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

sleeps the best thing for him
could the blood be like residue?
surely he has to have a checkup before he goes back??

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

No checkup arranged 😐  He says no one listened to his chest at all exept once when they admitted himto ICU 😐
he was closely monitored but no actual physical examination.
.
He just has to go to the GPs in 7 days time for his stitches removed   (won't even be here then if he has his way) & a follow up appointment with his Ortho Consultant in 6 weeks time.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

My hubby nearly died from a PE a few years back. It was touch and go - his lungs were 3/4 full of blood when he finally went to hosp (I called an ambulance when he got up in the night to go to the loo and barely made the 1/2 dozen steps back from the en suite to the bed, then could barely breathe). He'd been misdiagnosed by the GP as having pleuracy, she hadn't even listened to his chest!

It was so severe for him he was facing open heart surgery, but luckily it never came to that and he pulled through OK. If it had been discovered sooner (as it obviously was with your son CK) it wouldn't have been nearly as bad.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

It was - not least of all because I was 5months pregnant at the time with our first child! My second scan (ie finding out if all appears healthy and sex of baby etc) was actually while he was in there - you should have seen the looks we got from the other parents-to-be when he was pushed in in a wheelchair breathing from a cylinder of oxygen!! 😮 :^O The good news is that was nearly 7 yrs ago and he's fine 🙂 They never found a cause whereas I assume your son's was caused by the surgery so therefore he should be fine, and knows to be careful with any other surgery in the future 🙂

I cannot believe he's going back to uni so soon though, he must be made of strong stuff CK, I bet you are proud! 😄 :-x

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

What's all this about e n d ? What does mean?  Do we get into trouble if we put a banned word, or do they just put the ***s and that's all??:|

Meet Tibbles .  I might try another one in different fabric as I think the pattern on his face makes his features disappear.:-(
