Does anyone know of a cure for snoring that actually works?
It's becoming a big problem where I live.

Seperate bedrooms? An old fashioned remedy is to sew a cotton reel into the back of the snorers pyjama's, then when they turn onto their back it is uncomfortable, wakes them up and then they turn onto their side again.

We went for separate rooms. Worked fine.

Talk to your doctor, snoring is not something to be taken lightly if it's severe and need to be checked out.

OH has tried everything, nose patches, tablets, lying on his front, kick in the ribs, seriously, he was checked out because it was a massive problem for me, he gave up smoking 10 years ago so it wasn't that, he has a soft pallet in the back of his throat.
Seperate rooms for us when I am working earlies otherwise I wouldn't get any sleep.
Good luck, it can be miserable.

Absolutely, couldn't agree more, get it checked out.
Sleep apnoea sends your blood pressure through the roof hundreds of times a night and damages your heart.
My mother had sleep apnoea, it was only months after she died (of a heart attack) that it was splashed all over the papers as a new thing. Nobody went to the doctor with snoring in those days.

there are lots of medical things to help so talk to docs but a cheap solution is to where ear plugs every night.i find they work a treat.

My OH stopped his dreadful snoring, which was just becoming intolerable for me, after he stopped drinking alcohol six months ago
