Seems I am doing it again,
For anyone who hasn't seen it before, or those with very bad memories, I'll refresh the rules.
Secret Santa is a bit of fun for Christmas that most people who join in seem to enjoy.
You send your name, address, likes and dislikes in a message to me (via that little grey envelope up there ^ ^ ) then at the beginning of December I will jumble them all together and send you each the details of one other member.
You then use the information given to buy or make them a Christmas gift to the value of £5. (unless the majority feel it should be a little higher now, due to inflation, but that can be discussed as we go along)
I'll tell you your victim recipient at the beginning of December and that should give you all time to prepare it for posting shall we say around the 15th, to allow plenty of time to arrive at it's destination and to be put under the tree, (or hidden by partners for those amongst you who can't resist a little sticky beaking!! You know who you are!!)
I think that's all, but if not I'm sure someone will remind me.

I had to go searching for this, it had fallen to page 2. We will be a cosy bunch of just 20 at the rate, but that's ok, it makes no difference, you'll still send a gift and receive a gift.

Hiya CG, 20 is fine, we will all get something nice I am sure,

Got it stan.
No, still 20 ed because stan had booked her place, just hadn't sent her details. She's had to wait for a letter to arrive to see what her address is. (She's getting a bit forgetful you know)

When are you drawing the names out CG ?

ah bless

Beginning of December pcc. I thought that would give people time to make/buy a gift and have it ready to post by 15th to hopefully arrive by the 20th. Does that sound about right? I'm open to other opinions.

OK.
Beginning of December I will send you each a message (in the little grey envelope at the top of this page) I will tell you all on this thread when you should have it.
The message will just give you the ID and name and address of a person (chosen at random) who is in the Secret Santa. I will tell you the sort of things they like and the sort of things they don't like.
You will then chose a gift for them, it can be bought or it can be made by you, to the value of about £5.00. You wrap it all nicely but on the tag you only write something like From your FHG Secret Santa. X X X. Include the FHG because some people have SS gifts from other places. Don't put your ID or proper name on the tag or the outside of the parcel or it will give the game away.
You should post your parcel on 15th Dec. or thereabouts so it will arrive in time for Christmas.
When you receive YOUR SS gift, you DON'T OPEN IT UNTIL CHRISTMAS DAY.
After Christmas we all come on here and try and guess who sent us our gift.
All clear?
Any questions?

Stan, one of those questions should have been,
Why do I say a couple when I mean four?
