**FIFTH ATTEMPT AT POSTING. 'AUTHENTIFICATION FAILED. TICKET MISMATCH' ** No idea what this gobble-de-**bleep** means but it loses what I've written.
Getting seriously p'd off with this so-called 'new improved' ebay. Finally managed to list a pathetic 2 mdcc auctions. Spent several hours trying to master an ipad to list another special one-off but failed miserably.
Eventually did it, only to find ebay would charge me £2.50 for a £9.99 start price. Don't like being ripped off so cancelled it. Shame really as it was a specially painted, one-off Tilly witch for McMillan Nurses, my annual listing for them in memory of my good friend, Sue.
Thought we were supposed to get 10 free listings per month or has that changed as well?
Bit fed up of banging head on brick wall 😞
Good luck everybody.

Velvet - sorry can't help with listing on the i-pad, I have never got to grips with it.
In the future if you want to email pictures and your blurb I would be happy to do listing for you.

You're right there. merc 🙂 Thank you stroppy, you are a true star indeed 🙂
AND, do you know what's SO good about your post, stroppy? The fact that a computer whizz like you hasn't 'got' the ipad either 😉 You have no idea just how much that has boosted my morale! I thought I was in a minority of one - everybody keeps telling me how wonderful they are but no matter how hard I try, I just can't get the hang of the wretched thing 😞
So, thank you me duck, thank you 😉

Velvet - it most definitely isn't you. I struggle with even swtching the wretched thing on and off - it rarely gets switched off, just put back on the charging base after use. It would help if someone would produce "ipad mini for dummies". I only figured out how to close a program (to me they are programs, not apps) by googling. I loathe the touchscreen, my fingers are too big, I just end up with a filthy screen.
One thing that I will say is that the apple customer service folks are brilliant when you can finally get them to phone you. Had real difficulty when mine was first new, also difficulty with mother-in-laws. They spent hours on the phone with me working out what the problem was and fixing it.
Can't say that I am a huge fan of i-tunes either.

And don't even get me started on the subject of the mobile phone. The bloke in the shop showed me how to make a call and how to send a text, but it took me 6 months and a lot of time on google to figure out how to answer a call. I am reasonably good at texting now, but still find it difficult to hit the right keys, and trying to pay a bill on it was an experience that I hope I never have to repeat!
