I third that ed i have raised a lot over the 2 years i have been doing it.

but its also not just the money having a hobby also gives my mind something to think about other than sitting there feeling depressed.

Yes it can BJ. It could be local, a favourite or national charity. It doesn't have to be handmade, unusual sells well. Whatever you want, its good because it comes under the umbrella of MDCC so people know where to look. Please join in, the more the merrier.

Just make sure MDCC is in the title of your listing so people can find it. Auction for 7 days, no BIN. The winner will pay you & you forward to your charity. 🙂

A very pretty cotton fabric bag, a hand made oven cloth, cotton 'designer' label fabric bag, another quilted oven cloth, another smaller cotton bag with 2 zips!

All items hand made & profit to various charities!

what i would like...is a request for some cushion covers to be made for me with my own material.

not an easy one to mdcc !

i would obiv pay the p+p to the sewer and back again, and i guess we'd need to agree a price per cover and i could  send a donation ( the usual way ) for the charity. and i would need to pay seperatly for zips/poppers/velcro/whatever.

do we think this might be possible ? probably  not for this mdcc as it's such short notice but a later one ?
