As a long time FHGer, I visit every night, read the posts and sometimes comment.

I say sometimes comment, as it seem that if you are not a regular poster then your posts can get ignored.

It is difficult to become a regular if your posts do not elicit a response.

It may explain why people pop in but do not stay.

I love seeing the baby, wedding, craft and pet photos, so I will keep visiting.

The Thread about books, asking for recommendations wasn't replied to for over 2 hours.

I am not suggesting anyone does it on purpose, just symptomatic of the situation.

I know that I tend to have long gaps between visits sometimes and by the time I get back and read back the chance to reply to a comment has passed and other people have added bits so my reply to a certain comment wouldn't make sense....

Anyway I blame the fact that I've just put chilli and garlic sauce in me coffee instead of Hazlenut syrup.......

Shelly, I don't normally get here till lunchtime so I tend to miss all the replies from last nights postings and it takes me a while to catch up.
