I have had a few steam cleaners in the past..hand held ones IMO have proven useless. I now have a VAX STEAM compact steam cleaner and it does most jobs, I have used it on my range cooker, UPVC windows and doors,kitchen cabinets,shower,bath.tiles,mirrors,even on my car engine. It comes with a few attatchments as well. I think I paid £45 for it at the time around 2 yrs ago but it has been worth it.

I have just bought a Vax steam Duet Master, it is about £75 at the moment in argos I think and it is brilliant, it is on a stick or you can take the hadle and base off and use it as a handheld steamer. It got my oven really shiney, I clean the floors, tiles, bath windows everything with it. FABULOUS.
