These damn fireworks - it's getting to be beyond a joke. I live opposite a pub and the bloody things have been going off since 5.00 p.m. It's no joke. A few, or several, yes if you're having a firework display, but not for six hours. That's a lot worse than Guy Faulkes Night - at least there'd be a finish to them by ten-o-clock, but it's quite, quite ridiculous to have a steady stream of them go off for six hours. The problem being it's a dry night
How bad is it your side?

Highly annoying.

We keep getting the odd ones. Lottie needs to go out. I just went into the garden with her and just as she's about to step onto the lawn there's a bang. I kid her up to carry on and there's another bang. She heads for the door and we come in again. No way will she do what I know she needs to do. It'll be newspapers on the floor tonight!
Molly dances round her, oblivious of anything!

Guy fawkes! we had 4 days cullminating in our neighbours 4 hours of really big fireworks. We don't want to spoil fun for the little ones but there wasn't a tot in sight - just a load of drunks. The had their new year fireworks last night but there is still 35 minutes to go so i dare say it will kick off again tonight. Our border collie is currently hiding under the bureau. Poor thing

A few odd ones going off since 10.30. then a big flurry at midnight for about half an hour, then all quiet.
Some sizzles and crackles, but no loud bangs.
And my cat was sitting on the window sill watching it all through the window.
Being on the 9th floor, I get a good view.

We had fireworks from around 5pm as well. They were intermittent but really started at around 11.50 but only lasted for about 20 minutes.

What gets me is the HUGE explosions. What's the point? They're all noise and little to see.
I wonder if they're let off by those who're also the loudest mouth and all "look at me, look at me"?
