FRIDAY'S tea thread

As always Friday is the "lazy" day in the kitchen. Ready made meals courtesy of Morrisons. I am having paneer and vegetable curry and teenager is having shephard's pie.

Re: FRIDAY'S tea thread

As it is Friday the 13th I thought I would have any easy tea so as not to tempt fate !

Battered Fish (cooked in the oven), chips (cooked in the oven) and mushy peas all from the freezer, with apple pie and cream for afters.

Re: FRIDAY'S tea thread

Chicken escalopes coated in flour then pan fried with soy sauce,

roast potatoes and green beans with creamy mushroom sauce.

No idea for pudding yet, probably a biscuit or mousse.

Re: FRIDAY'S tea thread

Pork chops(finally) in gravy with chili and apple.  Served with mini roasties('cos daughter said they are scrummy but have my doubts), yorkshires and mixed veg.  Son is sulking 'cos he likes eating at 4 or 5 and I was too busy to cook at 3!.

One of the doctors brought me a sub from subway - chicken, bacon, & cheese on toasted herb and cheese bread

Re: FRIDAY'S tea thread

That sounds nice Stroppy. I had scrambled eggs 'cos I couldn't be bothered to do anything else.

Re: FRIDAY'S tea thread

Feeling much better thanks CB. Blood pressure has finally stabilised and I have been promised that if it is stable tomorrow I can have a shower.

Infection count is still going up though.

Doctors are indeed being great
