DIY numpty drill query - help please?

While something of a DIY novice I have used a standard drill on inside walls and for the most part the drill does the job. That is until I come to solid brick and I barely make any progress whatsoever (not even a 1/4 inch)? I am using the correct masonry bit so that is definetly not the reason

I assume that my drill is not powerful enough and need a new drill or am I missing something?

The following is the drill spec that I am currently using:

Draper Hammer Drill

Voltage: 230v/240 - 50 Hz

Motor 550w

Speed (no load) 0-3000rpm

Drilling capacity:

Steel 12mm, Masonry 15mm and Wood 25mm

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm glad it's sorted, cause I didn't have a scooby 😐

Well I can put floating shelves up and change a plug but that's about it.
