No, not cold boobies, but the bird kind!

Parked coach in little layby in quiet country road this morning, under a tree.  (I was a bit

early for my next job.)  As I was munching my roll and coffee, I was entertained by two

lovely little bluetits doing a merry dance all around the tree, then they sat on one of my

mirrors and sang.  Then they flew away.

I felt honoured to have provided their stage and audience (albeit only one of me).  Sometimes

such nice things happen unexpectedly.

I wished I'd had my camera.

Things like that really lift your spirits don't they.:-D

Oh I know just exactly what you mean - we have loads in the garden - long tails too - what is it that these tiny creatures possess that do just ^^^^^^ this ?:|

I watch the fledglings every year too.

birds are supposed to be a good omen and the fact they came so close and entertained you, well I'd say something nice will happen soon.....

we've had to move our bird feeding station as the sparrowhawk was flying down and eating them:-( but we couldn't see the birdies as well from our breakfast room, but, since we've moved it, they seem to be coming more often, so we see more of them in a way.

these are not that great as it was taken on my mobile, my Dad has a blue tit box with camera in and this week 9 eggs have been laid, in the second picture she is sitting on the eggs.

I really still miss our 2 pairs of Robins that we had where I used to live, one pair lived in the front garden and the other in the back.

We'd sit in the garden at around 4 pm and they would always come down and do us a show..........flying around looking like they were dancing :-x

Dairy I love the blue tit box, how lovely to watch all that happening :-x

Sadly where we live now, I don't feed the birds or encourage them in any way, as the neighbourhood is over run with cats, my two included, I know that the birds are well fed in our area though 🙂 I just feel it would be cruel to encourage them here as it would be too dangerous for them, and although I love cats, well I love all animals, I love the birds too.

Last year my youngest cat brought a baby blackbird in, I managed to rescue it and I nursed it all night and managed to keep it alive, fortunately it hadn't been injured, we took it along to our vets in the morning, I was concerned and asked the nurse what they were going to do with him because I didn't want him destroyed and she told me they get taken to a bird sanctuary and when he was old enough to look after himself, he would be set free, I often think of him and wonder how he is :-x
