Why are sellers so badly treated on Ebay?

Legitimate sellers have to deal with the rise of bad faith (which, honestly, has always been a problem) buyers- return requests for products that matched what they were looking for (they might claim it isn't what they wanted but the product description is out there with in-depth information), false claims of not being delivered despite the delivery tracking showing otherwise and an overall increase in buyers attempting to scam the seller. This is common on all marketplaces but it feels increasingly more common on eBay and it doesn't feel addressed. On top of this now a big number of sellers are confronted with hold on their payments for weeks with the most absurd excuses from the staff. Easy to understand that by the number of complaints and minutes waiting for a call or a human chat. Sellers life has turned into a nightmare, since Ebay is using its funds to finance his activity. Ebay was nice ( member for 26 years). Now, very unfriendly...
