You cannot have more than 1 claim going at the same time.
If you open a claim with Ebay and then open another elsewhere the one with Ebay closes automatically.
The feedback may have been removed at sellers request.
They may have complained that the feedback was left before they had had time to sort the issue out.

I opened the paypal claim in error, as it was my fist time dealing with a scammer.but it dosn't answer the Question...... Does ebay allow fake coins?
And why wasn't the offer to "sort the issue out" sent to me.?

eBay does not 'allow' the sale of fakes and by listing a seller is stating the item is genuine.
"And why wasn't the offer to "sort the issue out" sent to me.?"
Exactly what do you mean, sent to you by who?

" what do you mean, sent to you by who?"
DID YOU READ THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS?
Quote from another response.
"They may have complained that the feedback was left before they had had time to sort the issue out"
My complaint is that the silver coin I purchased, was a nasty fake and was magnetic,MY COMPLAINT WAS IGNORED AND MY FEEDBACK ALERTING OTHERS TO THE SCAMMER WAS REMOVED.
I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER COLLETABLE COIN FROM EBAY AGAIN.
EBAY DO ALLOW FAKE COIN TO BE SOLD.

It's currently estimated that there are 7 billion items for sale listed on eBay.
Do you really think that someone from eBay is going to check out every listing?
The tools are there to protect yourself, if you choose not to use them that's up to you.

Also just to add, what in the name of online buying has Alibaba got to do with eBay?
You do realise that they are entirely separate purveyors of stuff?
24-09-2023 9:39 PM
Are you realy that stupid not to understand that scammers are buying coins from alibaba, and selling them as genuine, were you born yesteday ?

Do you think that EBAY has a responsibility to protect buyers from scammars.?

Buyers are very well protected by the ebay money back guarantee, but they have to follow the rules. Opening a case with ebay and then opening another one with Paypal will ensure your ebay case gets closed, as you have found. If you stick with the Paypal case now and follow their rules, you should get your refund, although you will have to pay to return the coin to the seller.
Getting angry and "shouting" at those trying to help you is not the best way to get help. These people here are very experienced and are trying to help you, so best if you stay calm and polite.

I was born many years ago and have sold and bought on line more than you can possibly imagine and am now enjoying the profits and proceeds.
I have a one week food tour of Sicily coming up at the end of this week, I will raise a glass of wine to you, not that you deserve it.
There are two types of people who buy and sell on eBay, those who know what they are doing and those who don't.
I will leave it to you to decide which group you belong to

Yes I'm angry, and I understand you are all paid sycohants protecting the scammers, but denying me resolution, removing my feedback, and protecting the scammers is wrong.

Thank you for confiming that EBAY are happy to allow fraudsters to sell on ebay

Unpaid sycophants maybe, but unfortunately there's no connection with eBay other than being ordinary users like yourself, and so any action taken by eBay is out of contributors control. All anyone can do is try to give you advice based on their own knowledge and experience. Take it or leave it I suppose.
24-09-2023 10:37 PM
If I'm a paid sycophant can somebody tell me what bank account this is being paid into?
I've seen nothing so far and I do like to keep my tax affairs in order.
OP, my advice is give it a rest, you're not getting anyone to agree with you and you're making yourself look like a bit of a *bleep*.
24-09-2023 11:00 PM
Yes I will give it a rest, if you will confirm I was sold a fake coin,my feedback was removed and EBAY DONT GIVE A *bleep*.
25-09-2023 12:14 AM
Because we are ebay users the same as you we have no idea why your feedback was removed, and maybe ebay don't give a bleep, as you say.
We don't know these things because we are members like you and are not party to anything ebay does or doesn't do.
And no, we aren't paid to post on here, we do it in our free time because we like to help people where we can.
However some people cannot be helped.
25-09-2023 12:19 PM
So I'm [we are] a "sycohants" - had to look that one up but it's not in the dictionary.
25-09-2023 9:19 PM
I do apologise for confusing you, anyone who is educated to a reasonable standard would recognise a “typo".
But for the hard of thinking I will explain.
The meaning of SYCOPHANT is a servile self-seeking flatterer.
