Well it was fun while it lasted, Ebay used to be a great platform for selling/ buying but not any more. The high heid yins will no doubt say some utter bull word salad such as "these strategic changes have been implemented through listening to our members" blah blah blah. Now if Ebay went back to the way it started I think you'll find a happier customer base, probably less will be leaving or at the very least looking at alternative sites to join.
The old saying if it ain't broken don't fix it, it all started going downhill the moment they separated from PayPal- you could see the car crash start to happen in slow motion. Well after nearly 24 years no more selling for me, might purchase the odd thing now and again. Holding our monies to ransom before payout was the last straw for me personally, simple delivery I would not use, Royal Mail would always be my preferred delivery anyway.
Maybe one day Ebay will see the error of their ways before it's too late but I very much doubt it. So it will be an online web page shop for me in the coming months and other avenues to sell through.

Please let us know how you got on with the other avenues. Enquiring minds want to know!
eBay did listen about releasing payments faster since you left. Hopefully other positive changes will come.
Personally I am like you and prefer Royal Mail, so Simple Delivery is easy for me because I only accept RM so almost the same as before... except with better insurance and refund protection for late/damaged/lost items.
