So I bought a nvidia GTX 1050 ti 4GB ddr5 graphics card that turned out to be a fake. I raised a return and printed an eBay return form and sent it back. Tracking says there were two attempted deliveries - no answer. Item available for redelivery or collection. He's dragging his feet and not bothering. How do I stand to get a refund under these circumstances?
eBay only need attempted delivery for returns. If you haven't done so already escalate your case to ebay at least 3 working days after you started it. Go to the return case, click on Case Details > Respond to Case > Escalate This Case > Submit.
According to ebay, my refund should process within 3 days of delivery. It's not been delivered, and now it's sitting in a sorting office waiting to be collected. I dont have the option to escalate.
This is what ebay chatbot tells me. ..OK, I see the seller hasn't received your return yet. Before we can start the refund process, delivery needs to be confirmed by the seller or through tracking.
Once your return arrives, the seller then has 2 business days to send your refund.

This happened to me with a return and it does take a bit longer because it does not show as delivered but i got my refund and so will you. After the time was up i got an email asking if i wanted ebay to step in.
