Urgent: Fraudulent Buyer Activity – Request for Investigation & Action

Dear eBay Support,

I would like to report the following buyer accounts for fraudulent activity:

*username removed*

These buyers are repeatedly:

Returning empty envelopes instead of the actual item.

Opening bank disputes after returns to obtain double refunds.

Exploiting the eBay system to commit fraud.

This is causing serious losses to sellers and undermining trust in the platform.

I kindly request that eBay investigate these accounts, take necessary action, and remove any unfair defects/claims associated with these fraudulent buyers.

You're not allowed to name and shame on here. You should report any suspected fraudulent buyers though the relevant procedure on eBay.

But FYI, all but the first user are no longer registered anyway.

Also, why wouldn't you instantly block any user who you suspect committed fraud against you?

This is not ebay support, this is a members'  forum for members to ask qusestions. No one from ebay will see your post, and it will also be edited as you are not allowed to name and shame here. 

They are also all  registered in Australia.

At least one of your "baddies" has been kicked off so reporting them does seem to work sometimes.

you are not speaking to eBay as these are public boards.

you cannot name and accuse other members of criminal offences as its against board policy, best remove their IDs.

Best remove the whats app image as well, as it shows a name and an address.

This post is meant as a warning for the community and eBay so other sellers stay alert. I have already reported the buyers through the proper channels, but I believe sharing experiences helps protect fellow sellers as well.

And yes, I do block any buyer who attempts fraud right away.

Well that is what the correct procedures are intended for. You can’t openly accuse people of crimes on a public forum (without repercussions). And you can’t do it on this community forum regardless (no matter whether you feel you are doing it to help others).

@ has highlighted that you appear to have posted an image with the name and address a user (of whom you are accusing). This could get you in serious trouble. You should report your own post and ask for a mod to remove it asap.
