Seller provided different Tracking ID on eBay showing item was delivered to the different location

Hello. Please, help! 

Seller provided the fake tracking ID on eBay showing that item is delivered. After checking it shows that item was delivered to New York instead of Delaware aka the wrong location. After contacting seller, he/she gave the different tracking ID showing that item is on its way from New Jersey to Delaware-still not delivered. While the item original location is China. I opened the request on November 17, 2024, still there is no option to ask eBay to step in and help. 

Since the item was purchased on eBay with the respect to eBay TOS, I trust eBay tracking ID. And none of these tracking IDs (eBay or seller's different one) show that item is delivered to my eBay verified location. Please, help. Thanks in advance.

How was this package sent to you was it via global shipping or was it direct from the seller?

If sent via global shipping the tracking number changes the original should be just showing in the uk, although ebay should not a share that with you.

Trusting any online system is a mistake they all have glitches ebay more than most. it is a little early to say the seller is trying to scam you, or to say the item is lost in the post from china.

But thus is the uk forum 

Just wait until your request can be escalated then get ebay to step in.

Thanks, seller gave some ontrac link which does not show how it was shipped, but parcelapp link shows it was posted from China post Guandzhou, Guangdong. it is obvious that the seller is a liar. After opening the request, I can invite eBay to step after 4 days. I opened it on November 17, today is 21. Shall I wait till 22? Thanks

yes, sadly it was a Chinese seller.

Hello. Thanks for reply. I opened a case on eBay which was automatically closed in seller's favor since they gave a false tracking ID, I escalated it and also talked to live agent. This is my last hope.

You need to ask your question on the US boards as the rules may be different over there

Here we would request a call back so you can speak to an agent and explain the item was not delivered to you

Rules are the same. Simply tracking ID has been changed 3 times and at the end it is found. Thanks.

Item was found after its tracking ID was changed 3 times. The seller showed early delivery with the fake tracking ID. You are right- I will triple think before buying from Chinese vendor. Yor reply is accepted as a solution.

Thanks everyone for your help and participation. Item was found and believe or not its tracking ID was changed 3 times! Whatever, I should triple think before purchasing anything from Chinese sellers.
