Returns

Hi all,

I have to return a parcel as it was not as described.  The seller sent the parcel via Evri.

I've printed the return label and it is tracked royal mail. Can I use the royal mail free collection for this or do I have to take it to a post office.

I'm housebound so have to ask someone to take it to the post office for me.

Thanks in advance

Lynne

I should add that I have used the Royal Mail free collection service several times for eBay returns with no problems.

The only potential issue is for people without printers, who have to use the QR code instead – this option only works at suitable Post Offices or Royal Mail collection points. Postie can't (yet) print a label on your doorstep... 😁

Yes, you can. Just enter the tracking number (ending GB) on the RM site to book your free collection. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately i think the item has to go through your nearest Post Office.Keep the receipt.

Contact the Seller & ask about changing the Returns label to collection as you are not able to get to the Post Office.

Thanks so much for the advice. Postie has just collected the parcel and ebay have acknowledged it so all good. I'll remember this for the future should it arise.

The original post was from December.  I think they will have sorted it out by now.
