Ordered what was supposed to be a bottle of Hypnotic Poison Eau Secrete. All the box hallmarks including barcode number looked legitimate, i believe the box is real, but the contents are definitely fake.
Immediate suspicion upon receipt that the Christian Dior official seal label was missing. Its a discontinued perfume so i gave benefit of the doubt with the age it might have peeled off, but i've never been able to get a legit one off without it ripping open the cellophane.
However, the perfume in the box is all wrong. Its got the regular hypnotic poison perfume design on the eau secrete shape bottle. It's made of clear glass thats been painted rather than solid red glass that it should be, theres no embossed name, batch code, etc on the bottle base. The writing on the bottle has multiple letters the wrong size. I'm 100% certain it is a fake, but don't want to risk not getting a refund, so don't know how to word my return.
Obviously i return as item not as described, but do i state it is a clear fake in my reason for why i want to return as INAS, list the above reasons and photos, or simply go with the fact the perfume inside the box is labeled as perfume A, but the box is for perfume B, without stating its a fake? Would also appreciate advice on how to word feedback that item was a fake as i'm pretty sure the rest of the perfumes thry are selling will also all be fakes, and do i wait for case resolution to leave feedback, or do it now for other potential buyers before i get my money back?
