I didn't think sellers could have private feedback. Don't understand this post at all.
Ebay anonymises (spelling?) feedback not the users.
I keep mine private because I don't sell and I don't see any value to other people of my feedback, after all when I go in Aldi I don't have a notice on my back telling people what I've bought there previously.

Sellers can set their listings to private so when you look at their feedback it doesn't show what the feedback received was for.
Same as if you look at a buyers feedback left for others it doesnt show the sellers i.d. or the item it was left for, only a row of :- *****

I am talking about private listings not private feedback.
For a private listing in the feedback it doesnt give what the item is.
So how can I know what the feedback relates to ?
