I bought an item on the 13th and it was set untracked with Royal Mail. I started a dispute
It's stuck on 'dispatched' but doesn't how as 'In transit'. I know that he sent it as shows in my Royal Mail app.
It's now the 28th. I don't mind waiting a little longer. How long do I have until the case automatically closes? The case was started on the 22nd.

Do you have a button to 'escalate the case'?
If you have, go and push it now....

You have up to 21 days from the date the claim was initially started in which to 'Ask eBay to step in and help'.

If you have not already done so by the time you read this reply, do as has already been advised and activate the blue button in the case details in order to escalate the case to eBay. If you do that then unless the seller can prove beyond all reasonable doubt that delivery to the address that you provided at Checkout has either been attempted or has been successfully carried out, eBay will decide the case in your favour, in which case you will receive a total refund of the money that you paid to the seller.
If you are considering leaving feedback for the seller I would advise you to hold off of doing so until the case has been closed. The reason for this is because in some instances sellers have successfully managed to persuade eBay to remove a buyer's negative feedback in instances where the buyer left feedback in relation to the transaction whilst the case was still open. Therefore, if you hold off of leaving feedback until after the case has been closed then the chances that the seller will be able to persuade eBay to remove your negative feedback will be far lower than they would have been otherwise, unless you were to seriously breach eBay's rules with regards to what can and cannot be said in feedback.
