Again I'm waiting weeks for an item which wasn't clearly marked as coming from China and when you buy things and expect them to arrive within a few days... not with a "Royal Mail" tracking number (which never works. always the same error messages) and your stuck... waiting endlessly for things you could get here in the UK.
Makes me want to cancel any orders in the pipeline and get elsewhere but money is tight, you hope endlessly aswell... day after day waiting... tracking duff... then you check the listing... not marked as China, just "UK" and you only realize after you email the seller, the AI Chinese to English thing is just madness...
It's a lottery...

Any clues from their feedback?

Yeah, China... well, their location is marked as "China" on their profile, but the item itself is coming from the "UK", I emailed and asked why the Royal Mail tracking isn't working and I just got a general sorry, can you wait please? I had to say to them, If I'd known, I wouldn't have ordered from you, it's the prices you see... anyway their last reply was "ok, hope the package can arrive on time" which is fine of course, but what can I do, but fume for a couple of weeks and put everything I bought the item for on hold.

I feel like you’ve answered your question. Yes you have to go through a hoop to get to that page but I’d say that is the only way

If the item's location is marked as UK on the listing then that is where it should be shipped from.
If it's taking forever to arrive it sounds like it could be being shipped from China and you can report the seller to ebay for misrepresentation of location.
If your item doesn't arrive in the timescale they say on their listing you can open a Not Received case.
