I've been trying to leave feedback for a seller this morning but can no longer access the old feedback page, all I get now is rate the item and a box asking me to review and describe the item in more detail, I no longer have a comment box that relates directly to the seller/transaction. I left feedback anyway and put 'not used' in the comment box. Puzzling as to what would show on the seller's feedback I've just checked and it's 'not used'! So the 'describe your item in more detail box' is in fact the seller comment box?

On the app or a web browser?

On the laptop. Another item I left feedback for had the usual 'did it arrive on time' etc but this one was a different format.

I get this on occasion. I noticed there's a little downward pointing arrow that you can click and opens up the star rating system.
You could, if you wanted, add to your feedback left. In your feedback, under "feedback left for others", there should be a blue "follow up" to the right of the one left. I believe it's in the "when" column. It would allow you to leave the comment that you originally wanted to leave, before eBay's choice of wording confused everything.
The time I've spent trying to figure out if they want a review of the item, or the seller. I always just review the seller, which will be funny if they do try to convert it to a product review. Hope potential buyers are interested in amounts of bubble wrap and the fact an unrelated seller is a dream to communicate with 😆

Yes, I opened up about 10 purchases I've made, and 8 of them say "Tell us more about your experience" whereas 2 of them say "Tell us more about this item" instead - for no obvious reason.
I've not (yet) found a way to show the old/any other feedback page.

Also discussed on this thread - there seems to be no way back to the old feedback method.

No matter which phrasing is used, I always rate the transaction; and every time it has shown up in the seller's feedback. I'll laugh my head off if I ever spot one of my feedbacks as an actual product review.
It certainly explains why some sellers of CDs receive negative and neutral feedbacks because some buyer didn't enjoy an album. They were probably asked to rate the item rather than the experience.

I've just had a look at my own "Left for Others" feedback. In amongst the list were dotted some feedbacks that shouldn't have been there because they were what sellers had left for me. It seems like such a simple database sorting exercise that you would expect to be 100% accurate but yet again AI (presumably) has messed up.
