For the 2nd time in a week I have used the DHL collect option when I have sold an item on Ebay. On both occasions DHL have failed to collect and I have had to pay DPD to come out. How do i get my money back for this failed courier charge? No links found on Ebay and DHL say I am not the customer??

In the same boat. I honestly dont know what to do. Been waiting in for a collection only to find out the driver marked my premises as closed three hours before my window for collection? Paid £14 for what exactly? Did you guys just choose to ship yourselves with a different carrier? Not sure what to do

I had to get UPS or DHL business to send out my sold items. At my cost as I did not want any negative feedback.

Hang tight. They collected my parcel today on the third day. Not ideal nor am I happy with it but if you're able to wait then they should turn up eventually.

I sent my item by UPS. Ordered the collection at 11:30 and they picked up at 15:30 - I guess Ive saved weeks of pointless waiting. I suspect there's the makings of a Newspaper article or maybe a Which report into ebay, Simple Delivery and DHL.

Its atrocious. Surprise surprise they didnt pick it up today however the driver at 2:30pm logged they had tried my address and I wasnt in ( this is not true I've been in all day) when my timeslot was 17:00 to 18:00. Looking on trustpilot its clear everyone has the same issue, just appalling from ebay to partner with such an unreliable company. Will now have to sit in all day tomorrow and hope someone arrives.

Likewise been waiting 10 days for a DHL pick up. Have made a complaint to Ombudsman. Each time DHL eCommerce system says they expect to pick up on the day, or driver is delayed but have found out their tracking system actually shows no pickup was attempted. I am guessing it’s the computer pushing forward messages and timings regardless of the true position the business finds itself in
with a host of temporary drivers unable to fulfill their orders. Bizarre way to run a business or treat customers

DHL have failed for the second day in a row to pick up the package stating "Not Ready" as the reason.
They don't communicate anything after a failed collection and didnt tell me until today that it had been rescheduled for today.
I've had to message the buyer to see if they want to cancel the order or reorder it with custom postage.
What an absolute mess.

Day 3 collection failure. They're claiming "Collection Refused" now.

My parcel was finally collected today. If anyone needs to contact a human at DHL eCommerce you can call this number that they don't advertise. 024 7693 7777

Tuesday DHL collected perfectly OK. Unlike last time. But their service is
completely unpredictable- might be OK, might be hopeless. And you have no
way of knowing!

I decided to have ebay ring me since you said they swapped courier for you. They told me that wasn't possible.
They told me to pay another courier to collect it and submit a refund for the original label.
I had to point out that the buyer paid for the postage so the refund would go to them.....
Absolute shambles

I am in exactly the same position. Waited in last week for a collection which never happened. Got an email the next morning saying they would collect between 4 and 5. It was only luck I was in at 2 when the driver turned up.
so had another parcel today, initially told they would come at any time today. So really stuck at home. Then this morning got an email saying they would collect between 4 and 5. So I was in the loo at 1 this afternoon when there was very assertive knocking and bell ringing. So I jumped up and got to the door within a minute. But that was just in time to see the driver jump into his van and drive off at speed. Not sure what happens now. I just know I would never sell anything again if it meant having to use dhl collection. Life is too short for this kind of hassle. What on earth is eBay thinking forcing sellers to use this shambles of a delivery system. It’s like they want to destroy their company at a time when there are lots of competitors ready to take their place.
